I've been working on some outfits for my hunter. Since my old guildmates came back, we've been running the hell out of old content. It's been a lot of fun, and these runs, along with some Auction House hunting has produced a variety of nice outfits. It's unfortunate I can't just wear them all.
The outfits reflect the blog name and my obsession with House Targaryen (for Daenerys!). Prepare for some dragons (and fire. and blood. and no caps.)
Silver and Gold Dragon
And red, but that would make the title super long. I like the T1 pants from Molten Core, but not a big fan of the chest piece. A little ingenuity and some nice shoulders from Karazhan and wahhlahhh, an outfit to match the Magnetized Projectile Emitter.
Helm: Steamworker's Goggles - Ulduar 25 man (Flame Leviathan)
Shoulders: Dragon-Quake Shoulderguards -Karazhan (The Curator)
Chest: Wrathfin Armor -Random Drop Level 61
Hands: Marauder's Gauntlets -Random Drop Level 31
Waist: Tracker's Belt- The Slave Pens (Mennu the Betrayer)
Legs: Giantstalker's Leggings - Molten Core (Magmadar)
Feet: Giantstalker's Boots - Molten Core (Gehennas)
Weapon: Magnetized Projectile Emitter -Ulduar 10 man (XT Hard Mode)
Fire and Blood
I mentioned back on a warrior/dk transmog post, that I thought it would be neat to make Fire and Blood outfits. For those non- A Song of Fire and Ice fans, "Fire and Blood" is the motto for House Targaryen. After finally getting the Crown of Destruction from Molten Core, I now had the biggest fuel to my fire...or something... lol puns. I wanted to keep the outfit black and red, but that is, of course, easier said then done. I was lucky to scrounge up some rare green legs, Ebonhold Leggings, from the AH for a really low price. Along with my Drakescale Hauberk, a rare blue drop from Hemathion, I was able to complete the two biggest pieces of the Ebonhold set. To show the fire into cool molten rock, I looked at the T9 offset mail piece, similar to the shaman T9.
Head: Crown of Destruction
Shoulders: Shoulders of the Ground Breaker -WotLK Legacy Vendor in Dalaran (T9)
Chest:Drakescale Hauberk -Hemathion (Rare in Blade's Edge Mountains)/ Ebonhold Armor
Hands: Gloves of Taut Grip -Ulduar 10 man (XT)
Waist: Valestalker Girdle- Mount Hyjal (Kaz'rogal)
Legs:Ebonhold Leggings -Random Drop Level 51
Feet: Boots of Unsettled Prey -Ulduar 10 man drop (other version's as well)
Weapon: Wrathful Gladiator's Rifle - WotLK Legacy PvP Vendor (Stormwind/Orgrimmar/Tanaris)

Character Post: Marpessa
So I thought I'd do a new thing and focus on my individual character's stories. The great thing about WoW (and what I thought was missing in SWTOR) is that I have much more freedom to create the background for my character. I'm not going into full blown storytelling mode here, just a little bit of background. This is actually a Transmog project for me, because I want to create outfits for each part of their storyline. There will most likely be 3-4 outfits, depending on their adventures in each expansion. I'm excited to do this project, because transmog is a passion of mine, and this is a good exercise for me to try and be more creative. However, have to admit, farming for these outfits is a pain in the ass.

Transmog Post: Hunter T13 Look
Been really loving the current tier look for hunters. The helm and shoulders combo is a nice tribute to the WotLK dragons, Frost Wyrms. Because I'm only doing LFR, I made a set for that version.

Transmog Post: Game of Thrones-Daenerys and Cersei
Winter is Coming
So I'm obsessed with Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire. Which is of course seeping into something I'm also obsessed with...TRANSMOG! WOO...So here's the first in a series I hope to complete. Game of Thrones Character Outifts! I'm focusing more on the outfits based on the TV show, simply because its better visual references.

Transmog Post: The Unburnt
I've been a bit obsessed with George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, and it's TV show Game of Thrones. My favorite character is Daenerys, Mother of Dragons and the last of the Targaryen Dynasty. Half my toons are named after her and her family members.
One of her title is The Unburnt, which I thought would make a really cool RP type name for a DK. A Death Knight preserved by the fires of the Dragon Queen, similar to what happened (and which we don't know about...biggest kept secret on Azeroth...) to Bolvar Fordragon. Anyways, I started making an outfit based on fire, which was pretty easy considering Firelands, but in general, I never made an outfit I liked under this pretense.
This changed, however, when I started my warrior. While toying with gear that I liked, I found the perfect outfit that fulfilled what I was looking for. Although my warrior isn't called The Unburnt, I still think the outfit is pretty nice.
Helm: Jaw of Repudiation - Valor Point Vendor
Shoulders: Destroyer Shoulderguards - Tier 5 Token from Tempest Keep (Void Reaver)
Chest: Lifeforge Breastplate - BoE drop from Ulduar (Ignis the Furnace Master)
Gloves: Gauntlets of the Molten Giant - Tier 12 Cataclysm Justice Point Vendor

Feet: Hellfrozen Bonegrinders - Blacksmithing Crafting 264 ilevel (Recipe from ICC Vendor)
The chest piece was a fluke. I lucked out on the AH one day. I like how its different and matches both the helm and the legs. I know the helm is supposed to be Deathwing-like, but I think it fits well.

Transmog Post: Blues and Purples
I have two new outfits to share, one druid and one hunter. I've been working on the hunter outfit for some time.
Hunter's got the blues (and golds)
The cool thing about wearing mail is that hunters can use some shaman looking pieces, so instead of being confined to scaley looking pants, I was able to create a very girly look with a long mail skirt. The main piece this outfit is centered on is the Frozen Forest Kilt, along with the Helm of Soothing Currents, which is based off the shaman tier 6 helm. While I hoped to get the matching recolored shoulders, The Wavemender's Mantle, I haven't had any luck yet. Luckily the T5 Hunter shoulders are a perfect match in terms of color and style. Don't ask how that weapon fits with the outfit...I just like it. >.<

The Dark Druid
So, as mentioned before, I was able to snag a beautiful Phosphorus Stone Drake on my beloved druid. It's my favorite of all the stone drakes, with its perfect shades of purple and grey. So, in honor of my new favorite mount, I pulled together a nice purple/black rogue-ish outfit.
There's a pretty long history behind this outfit. It's basically been in the making since I was able to snag my own Cursed Vision of Sargeras. I was going for a black, ninja/rogue like outfit during most of my efforts, but usually settled with just wearing it with some of my druid outfits simply because it's cool. I've always been partial to Mantle of Shadowy Embrace, because I like its mixture of black and dark purple, but the piece itself isn't part of a set, so I had to come up with that on my own. The only other full purple set is a recolor of the Shadowcraft armor (heirloom/replica), and I didn't like the legs of it. I was soon able to find a Proto-Hide Leggings off the AH, an Ulduar BoE drop, and was delighted that it fight in perfectly with what I was looking for. I'm very happy with the final product, although I would like to eventually find a more suitable staff.
Helm: Cursed Vision of Sargeras : Black Temple (Illidan)
Shoulders: Mantle of Shadowy Embrace : Keli'dan the Breaker, H Blood Furnace
Chest: Vest of Vengeance : Keli'dan the Breaker, Normal Blood Furnace
Hands: Deft Handguards : Quagmirran, Normal Slave Pens
Waist: Shifting Sash of Midnight : Reinforced Fel Iron Chest: Normal Hellfire Ramparts
Legs: Proto-Hide Leggings : Ulduar Trash Drop
Feet: Rapscallion Boots : Karazhan (Shade of Aran)
Weapon: Halion, Staff of Forgotten Love: Icecrown Citadel 10 man (The Lich King)
Here's a shot of this outfit with my new drake :D

Transmog Post: Fire Druid
Been a while since I showed off some transmog outfits. I was messing around with a few pieces. My first thought was creating a "fire druid" outfit to go along with my Fandral's Flamescythe (ie. Fire kitteh staff), although I also really like my Funeral Pyre staff. I particularly stuck with the colors of red, yellow and brown, simply because those remind me of fire. Because of the limits of the gear available, my toon looks more like someone whose dappled within fire, then actually being on fire themselves.
Helm: Gladiator's Kodohide Helm-1000 Honor ; Vendor in Netherstorm
Shoulders: Titan-Forged Spaulders of Triumph: Wintergrasp Vendor
Chest: Thunderheart Tunic: T6 token from Illidian in Black Temple
Belt: Thunderheart Belt : T6 token from assorted bosses in Sunwell Plateau
Hands: Loramus' Gloves: The Altar of the Storms quest in Blasted Lands
Feet: Boots of the Frozen Seed: Crafted 264 boots from ICC.
Staff: Funeral Pyre: Shared loot from bosses in Firelands.
Maybe I'm a secret slut, but I prefer gear for night elves that show a little skin. That's why I like the Thunderheart Tunic/Chestguard so much. The Gladiator's Kodohide Helm, a red version of the T5 helm, is a perfect look of charred antlers and red. I also prefer the Titan-Forge Spaulders, which have insets that have flames, better than the Obsidian set (t12), which, while charred and fire looking, reminds me of a strange looking bug.
This set swaps Thunderheart Tunic for Robes of the Summer Flames, which I think is far more obvious in terms of fire, then the previous chest. I do hesitate whether I like it or not simply because it's a bit loud in terms of detailing, but then again, when has fire ever been silent?
Chest: Robes of the Summer Flame: Drops from Magister's Terrace, Kael'thas Sunstider, Normal Mode.

Quick Updates
Finals
It's finals time, which means I'm not around. My free time is usually spentnot studying, and raiding.
Anyways...
Transmog
Since 4.3 hit I have been OBSESSED with transmogrification. I'm still desperately trying to figure out an outfit I really like for my Cursed Vision of Sargeras, which has ended up with me and headaches for many nights. I really should just pick some dumb rogue look-alike set and go for it. I did do an Ulduar 25 run the other night and was lucky enough to win The Lifebinder. Speaking of getting phat loots...
Dragon Soul
I got a bunch of gear raiding last night. My t13 hands dropped from the new BH boss and I won the roll for the One-handed mace, Vagaries of Time from the first boss of DS. The one who looks like Stonecore's boss...Ozruk...yeah...
It's a neat looking mace, with gears turning. Yeah. I've noticed a theme with the weapons, in particular. They either, look like we ripped a piece off of Deathwing and decided we'd use it as a weapon. Or, they have a Bronze Dragonflight flare to it. So I'm hoping to make with a Bronze Dragonflight theme to go along with it.
Early Access
I am SUPER EXCITED because early access for SWTOR starts next week. And guess who pre-ordered hers the first day and put in the code ASAP. ME! :D So hopefully I get a super early.12/20/11 12/13/11!
Oh yeah! the whole reason for this post.
I updated my transmog page to include resources and separate pages for my outfits. I will be adding more soon! I hope you enjoy it!

Make it work!
So sadly, as I logged in to do my transmog (which was one of the very few things I was looking forward to), I discovered that in my excitement for finally gaining my tier 12 shoulders, I de'd my Passive Resistor ones. That means no more shiny blue falling feathers for me. I probably won't be raiding anytime soon, especially the lower instances, so I just had to improvise. My set was a mixture of the tier 5 set i wanted to use, and the extra pieces from tier 9 that I liked. The overall outcome was actually pleasant, and I like the way I look.
The coolest part about transmog is that your enchants on your current weapon show on your transmog weapon. So that beautiful staff is glowing with Power Torrent. :)
Feral by Night
My feral outfit is horrendous. Like depressing. It's such a bad mixture of rogue tier, druid tier, and heroic dungeon sets that it makes no coherent sense. Well that's okay because I have transmog to fix it :D
In case your curious, this is what I look like currently. The helm looked so stupid that I just transmog'd my Ruthless Gladiator helm over it just to have a better look. I still don't match at all though.
I decided to stick with the main idea of using the tier 9 chestpiece which I love. I think it looks...well hot, which my boyfriend points out is because my boobs are showing. <.<
In general, I think of robes, skirts, kilts, dresses as a caster thing, so I choose the T9 legs to match the bluer chest, the crafted Knightbane Carapace. I added some tougher looking boots, and a shady looking helm, that is simply a high collar. Finally, to add that druid touch, I added the green version of the Thunderheart shoulders. I think they add just the right amount of druidism to the outfit without making it overwhelming.
The perfect staff ended up being an old PvP staff, the Brutal Gladiator's Staff, which is a recolour of similar staff in Mt. Hyjal. I like that the blues create unity between the staff and the outfit.
I'm a rogue druid!...and here's a better look at the staff.
Who do you wanna be?
My current WoW Transmog project will be putting together prominent druid NPC outfits together. I tried Broll Bearmantle at first, but there are some odd discolorations between the chest that is perfect and the legs. However, I was able to successfully create a Hamuul Runetotem,-post Leyara attack/Molten Front. This is an exclusive Alliance only outfit because some pieces are are the t9. It's kind of weird considering Hamuul Runetotem is wearing them. But hey! He's cool like that.
I forgot to take a pick of the side with the staff. I will put all the details of each outfit in my transmog page. I hope you liked them. I'll get Broll fixed up and do a few others; maybe Malfurion pre-man/bird/chicken form, and some other NPCs, like the Molten Front guards.

It's mogging time!
Not quite. But hey, a girl can dream. I am SOOOOOOOOOOO excited for Transmogrification in 4.3 It's probably the only thing I'm really looking forward to. Well, that and by extension, Void Storage, since I can't fit anything else in my bank/bags. It's getting kind of stuffy in there.
Tier Choice
My top tier choice is the tier 5, Nordrassil set. My favorite part about this tier is the color scheme. The dark browns and greens, encircling purple gems. This is my choice "druid" outfit. The Pillar of Ferocity also perfectly matches.
Custom Set
My all time favorite piece is the Passive Resistor Shoulders. Nothing beats those gorgeous blue feathers, gently falling down, the electric pulse they randomly give off. Unfortunately, this is part of one ugly colored set, with bright blues and ...orange? Peach-ish orange? Not sure. So here is my custom outfit, which I will probably use when 4.3 comes out. I've decided on the T9 chestpeice, since it not only has subtle blue feathers outlining the back and arms, but some nice greens as well. I've paired it up with the T8 headpiece, which matches the crescent shapes on the robe, as well as matches my usual title, Starcaller. Finally I have chosen the Staff of the Redeemed, a blue quest staff that is very similar to Velen's staff. I might use the Pillar, since it matches the belt, which I borrowed from the Tier 5 set. I am looking for a belt with some subtle blues in it, but so far no luck :(.
This is what I've got for now. I don't think I've ever spent so much time on Atlas loot. I hoped you enjoyed my attempts. I will definitely be checking out more leather outfits but for now, these are my choice pieces. I'm hoping that through our Black Temple runs, I can pick up the leather blindfold off Illidan. Then will definitely be creating a set around that.
I love transmog!
